Pawtucket right-hander Devern Hansack entered the week with a 2-8 record and 5.40 ERA, but in consecutive starts against Richmond and Rochester he was flat out dominant. Hansack turned in a pair of two-hit gems, totaling 15.0 innings and striking out 12 batters without surrendering a run or a walk. Hansack's 8.0 inning victory Tuesday night against Richmond was his longest outing of the year by a full inning, and just the second time he allowed less than three hits. He followed that with a 7.0 inning, eight-strikeout performance yesterday in Rochester, exacting revenge after losing to the Red Wings back on May 23 (5.1 IP, 7 H, 4 ER). His eight strikeouts matched a season high, helping the PawSox increase their lead in the IL North to 5.0 games. His two victories this week represented the first two times he didn't allow a walk this season. | Team Card Sets have arrived! 2008 Sea Dogs Team Card Sets The long awaited arrival of the 2008 Sea Dogs team card sets is finally over.
