Sheri Piers, 36, of Falmouth edged training partner Kristin Barry, 34, of Scarborough for the women's title, reversing the order of finish from the previous two years. Piers and Barry were both timed in 17:26, matching Barry's course record. Carry Buterbaugh, 36, of South Portland was third for the second year in a row with a time of 17:59.
